Consultation/advice

Initial consultations can be arranged to discuss your requirements. This is at no cost to yourselves at this stage although mileage is charged for projects further afield than 20 miles.

Site visit

If you decide to proceed a site visit and survey will be carried out. Photos and soil samples are taken and a report of the findings will be produced for further discussion with you, the client. At this stage detailed costings for each stage of the design process are given. Please be aware that construction costs are separate.

Design

I begin by providing you with initial outline designs, sketches and visuals to show you how your garden could look. The ideas are presented to you and we can talk through any changes and further design work.

Plans and construction drawings

Beautifully hand drawn and coloured final plans will be provided for you which incorporate any changes discussed at the initial design stage. Along with this construction drawings can be provided to show specific structures or surfaces that may be required.

Planting plans and schedules

The planting plan shows the location and spacing of all the plants both new and existing and an accompanying schedule lists their names, sizes and quantities. Plants are chosen for their year-round interest and suitability for the site.

Sourcing materials/plants/construction

Working with the best landscape and specialist contractors, Sullivan Garden Design is able to design, specify and source the right product or service for your outside space. At this stage I can introduce you to contractors who will be able to discuss costs for this side of the process with you or you may have your own contractors in mind.

Project management

To ensure your satisfaction I can be available to monitor the progress of the garden as it is constructed.

Supply of plants and planting

After construction has been completed I can source, supply and plant your garden.

Maintenance schedules provided

Finally, easy to understand maintenance schedules can be prepared so you can care for your new garden.
